My husband was changing out of his church clothes yesterday as I prepared lunch. When I sat down to eat, he came in partially dressed.
He gave me a blank look. “What?”
“You look like Prince Adam from He-Man.”
He looked down at what he was wearing and smiled. He was wearing a hot pink T-shirt from a local fire department and some vivid purple boxer briefs.
He later stayed up all night preparing to fire his kiln. He had requested that I help him when I got up this morning. So, when I was ready to struggle out of bed, I sent him a text to let him know I was getting up.
A few minutes later, he entered the room. I looked him up and down, noting the clay dust on his T-shirt. And the clay dust on those purple boxer briefs.
“Working without your pants on?” I queried, raising my eyebrows.
“I have a very relaxed dress code where I work.”
